These terms describe the use of the Small Home Japan website and its free Small Home Audit worksheet. They do not set purchase terms for any future paid ebook or other product.

2. The free worksheet
The Small Home Audit is a printable PDF for observing and improving one small space in your home. You can request it through the website using an email address you control. There is no charge for this worksheet and no subscription payment is created by requesting it.
Providing your email allows us to fulfil your request. It does not, by itself, give permission for promotional emails. Any optional marketing subscription is separate and can be withdrawn. See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
3. Personal-use permission
You may download, save and print the worksheet for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share a link to our download or signup page. Unless permission or applicable law allows it, you may not resell the worksheet, publish or distribute copies as your own work, remove its attribution, or use it as a commercial giveaway. For classroom, professional or other distribution requests, contact us.
Rights in our original written content and branding remain with Small Home Japan or the relevant rights holders. Third-party rights remain with their owners.
4. Practical guidance and AI-created content
Our content offers general Japanese-inspired ideas for small homes. Mika is an AI-created host, and supporting images or video may be AI-generated illustrations of a concept. They are not evidence of an actual home, a particular product or professional credentials.
Check dimensions, access, suitability, load limits and relevant manufacturer instructions before changing a space or buying anything. Content is general information, not personalised architectural, structural, electrical, building or other professional advice. Obtain qualified help where a change requires it. Do not obstruct exits or damage building systems.
5. Responsible use
Do not misuse the forms, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, interfere with the service or attempt unauthorised access. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the service.
6. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide useful, accurate content and a working download, but availability and suitability can vary. If a download fails or you identify an error, contact us so we can help. We may correct or update content as the service develops.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular result from applying general guidance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Links do not imply that we control or guarantee their content.
If we introduce paid products, the relevant price, delivery, licence, cancellation and other purchase information will be provided before you order. This free worksheet request creates no obligation to buy anything.
